Congress, NC youth join PDP | KNO

JAMMU, Jun 11 (KNO) : Around 200 prominent Youth Congress and NC leaders, today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir in presence of party General Secretary Ved Mahajan, MLC Firdous Tak, State Vice President Youth Varinder Singh Sonu who claimed that youth leaders are joining the party in large numbers which is an indication of the party's increasing popularity. Ved Mahajan welcomed the new entrant into the party fold and asked them to start door-to-door canvassing to spread the message of party leadership amongst the masses at grass root levels.

Among the activists who joined the party included Imran Sheikh, Aquib Mughal, Mol Raj , Imran Bhatti, Mohi-ud-din, Amjad Mughal, Ishan Gupta, Rahul Sharma, Sajjad Hussain, Rajan Sharma, Kunal Sharma, Shabaz Malik, Ishan, Sanjay Mehra, Kem Raj and Many more Joining is organized by Wasil Doolwal MLC Firdous Tak said youth in Jammu and Kashmir could act as the greater inspiration for the government and the PDP to secure a better future for the state. “The PDP was founded with the idea to secure a prosperous future for the young generation which was crushed by the uncertain era of bloodshed and mayhem,” he added.

Observing that neither Congress nor NC is an alternative of the PDP in the state, Tak enthused the youth saying-“Youth are the only medium to bring about any change in the society whether it is social or political change and PDP is the only party that believes in the strength of youth”. Anjum Mirza, Balbir Singh, E Peter, Girish Sharma, Swarn Singh Santy, Neeraj Chandel, Pankaj Gupta, Naveen Sharma, Rafiq Malik, Talib Choudhary, Khalid Alaie, Dimple Kumar, Sandeep Jamwal, Deepak Gupta, Amit Gupta and many other youth leaders were present on the occasion.
